Transporter 3

Well, what to say about the newest Jason Stathom flick?

I suppose I should start off by saying that I enjoyed the movie. It was ridiculous, preposterous, full of fast cars, big explosions, women, and ass kickery. Really, do I need more than that?

I go to the movies to be entertained, and the Transporter did that. I was entertained for the 2 and some odd hours I was there. I suppose that is the big trouble with reading reviews, they trying to apply meaning to every little thing that shows up on screen. They try to make a movie more than a movie, more than entertainment. Yes, there are movies that transcend beyond that, but those aren't movies you go to be entertained at. Really, did you go see Passion of the Christ to be entertained? FUCK NO, you went to go see a Jew hung up by some Romans, which spawned one of the most powerful religions in the world.

But I digress. Transporter 3 was a good movie (aside from the 3 5-something year olds infront of me) It worked well within it's PG-13 rating, and while action movies could always do with some more blood and sex I did not find myself missing the blood and blatant sex. (But I digress again) The woman of the film, Natalya Rudakova, was hot in an exotic sort of way, the only thing that really held her back was the atrociously stereotypical Ukrainian dialog...though it lead to some hilarious moments, so there is a good chance it was purposeful. I enjoyed this one more than the second, though not as much as the first.

The true theory of threes here. In a Trilogy of movies the second will always be the worst.

Score: 7 destroyed Audi's out of 10.

 I got what I wanted out of an action movie. Action, there is nothing more I can rightfully expect from a film such as this.
